Nest in Capelo Lesser Goldfinch

Description

The Lesser Goldfinch, generally, locates in a vertical bifurcation of branches in bushes or trees, between 1.5 and 9 m from the ground. Sometimes it can be located higher up, in a tree or close to the ground, in weeds or dense bushes. The nest (generally constructed partially or entirely by the female) is an open, compact crown, interwoven with grass, plant fibers, and strips of bark.
